Yesterday (25/1/25) Ipswich travelled to take on league leaders Liverpool. Fresh off a home defeat last week to Man City (6-0). Liverpool entered the day top of the table without a defeat in 6. Sadly Town couldn't stop the tide or overturn the form guide as Liverpool ran out comfortable 4-1 winners. However, ITFC put some resistance in the second half with a consolation goal coming from a set piece in Greaves' header.
